OUR VISION
A healthier, more connected and equitable future where everyone has access to creativity, welcoming spaces and the opportunity to flourish.
Flourish uses design and creativity to strengthen communities, improve wellbeing and build lasting social connection. We co-design and create inclusive spaces, environments and installations with the people who use them, ensuring local voices shape every project.
Through free creative programmes, workshops and the redistribution of art, craft and design resources, we make creativity more accessible and build lasting creative legacy within communities.
As a not-for-profit CIC limited by guarantee, all profits are reinvested into projects that benefit the public.
OUR MISSION
DESIGN: SPACES, ENVIRONMENTS + INSTALLATIONS
We first and foremost design and install enriching, welcoming spaces, environments and installations in close collaboration with decision-makers, stakeholders, and local communities. We refuse to design from the top down instead we co-design with communities not at them. Our spaces build social equity and promote lasting human connection in environments where people can truly flourish.
CONNECTION: BUILDING CREATIVE LEGACY IN COMMUNITIES
Creativity is at the heart of Flourish and central to our commitment to building lasting creative legacy. We deliver free creative programmes, arts and crafts workshops and events for all ages, often in and around the spaces we design, creating opportunities for connection, collaboration and future creativity.
We also collect surplus art, craft and design resources and redistribute to grassroots organisations and individuals, keeping valuable materials in use for longer, reducing waste and supporting a more circular creative economy.
The work we do reflects World Health Organisation research demonstrating the important role the arts can play in supporting health, wellbeing and psychological resilience.
